Russians Visit

My youngest sister Alli was born in Russia. She joined our family when she was 11
years old. There are stories that I broke her arm her first day in Utah, but I plead the 5th. Anyway, since Alli graduated last week, her Aunt Irina and Uncle Vova (short for Vladimir) came to visit. Here is a picture of the three of them at the St. George Airport.

Irina especially loved Baby Sarah.

We enjoyed a fun dinner with them on Monday night.

At dinner, Sarah had her first taste of ice cream. My oldest sister thought has this thing with giving infants their first tastes of food way before they should have it... She had the help of her friend Dave too. First a lemon and now ice cream. What am I going to do?

I guess since I started this post with the Russians I should end with the culminating event for which they came. Alli's Graduation:

  1. Hillary,
I think that must be a thing with family members--Rosie's great-grandma tried to give her some cake frosting during a party, too! But you have to admit, it makes a good story... : )

I love Sarah's little swimsuit. We are going to California this month and I can't wait to put Rosie's on her. They are some stylin' little girls!!!
