New Seat

Sarah has graduated from her recalled Bumbo to a big girl seat. (Yes, Sarah would be one of those extra vigrous children who likes to imitate Houdini and get out of the Bumbo in less than 10 seconds. I learned early on that they really did mean for the Bumbo just to be on the floor.) Since we are in tight quarters with apartment living we opted for the portable seat that straps onto a regular chair. SARAH LOVES IT! It's fun to see her crawl over to the chair and pull herself up. She has associated the chair with food. Yippee. At least she can let me know she's hungry. In the few short days we have owned the seat I have learned not to put more food on her tray then I want to be cleaning up later. Just a few pieces at a time are all she needs. She's getting pretty good with picking up cheerios and eating crackers. We even saw her this morning picking up one of the cheerios I missed last night ...

  1. Ah! The scrounging-on-the-floor-for-food technique is one my children have perfected! Just give it a few more months, and you won't even need to vacuum, because you have Sarah!

  2. Okay, I know my kids are old when I have no freakin' clue what a Bumbo is!
