Japanese Garden

Walking through the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park was just so natuskashi. I felt like I was back on my mission. And I got homesick for my Japanese family. I really need to plan a time to go back and visit. I would love to see the cherry blossoms in the springtime ... Do you think I could swing an end-of-March trip without Sarah?

I digress ... I love the meticulous trees and the beautiful oriental structures in the garden. There is just something about the Japanese bridges and streams that just call to me. I realize I have lived in San Francisco way too long to not have seen the garden, but better late than never. I definitely will take family and friends to the garden on future visits. (That's an incentive to come again!)

PS For those of you in San Francisco - the sign posted out front indicates that admission is free from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

  2. I know you would have a whole lot of family mad at you if you let us take Sara if you go but I miss having a baby girl around the house!
