Christmas is so much fun with kids. My baby sister is 19 so it was fun to have Sarah around on Christmas morning to open gifts. She LOVES the Noah's Ark Little People set Santa Claus (AKA Valinda) brought her. (Valinda gets to play Santa for the next few Christmases - she has bequeathed her Little People toys that her girls have grown out of to Sarah.)
I thought Sarah would be more interested in the boxes and wrapping paper than the toys, but Noah's animals kept her entertained - so much so that she didn't want to open her other presents. (She did transfer her attention to the wrapping paper and boxes as the morning wore on.)
Sarah's present to her grandparents and great-grandmas was "First Book" - a book of Sarah's firsts that I made each of them on Blurb. (Thanks Michelle for introducing me to it.) Needless to say, everyone loved it.
As for my list of things to do ... Well, the family calendar got printed on time (Thanks again Heather), some of our Christmas cards got out (which means some will be New Years Cards), I still have one gift to make for my sister, I'm still doing laundry ...
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
