A Girl After My Own Heart

Roger knows I am a sucker for Japanese food - having spent a year and a half there on a mission. So for Valentines Day last week (yes, I realize how far behind I am) Roger took his girls to Sushi Rock for the very romantic mid-day date.

I knew Sarah liked rice so I wasn't worried.


But she did surprise us at her city-inspired taste buds. Here she is with Miso Soup.


And, that's right, seaweed.


Yes, I am a proud mommy - my little girl loves Japanese food. She ate almost as much as I did!

    Hills, I love it!!! Abbey always asks me if she liked different foods when she was younger. Now you have proof.

    Hillary, maybe you and I should go and have Japanese sometime! I am always ALWAYS wanting it, but Ken never is wanting it enough to go out and eat it. What did you think of that restaurant? I'd like to get to know a few Japanese places in the city.

    Yatta! Omedetou, Sarah-chan. Totemo kawaii desu yo ne.
    Hillary, you and George would get along great. He's always reminiscing about Japanese food, and it's hard to get the good stuff here without breaking the bank!
