Happy SUPER Golden Birthday Roger!

Rog turned 33 on February 3rd (I know I'm a little behind). Since he was 3 on his golden birthday I decided he needed to have his super golden birthday this year! And he is Roger the 3rd so it was an all-around-perfect time to celebrate!

Rog got his ideal present early - a Jack LaLanne Power Juicer. He picked it out and I bought it online. I thought, "Rog will be able to open a present on his birthday! Yippee!!" but alas it came on Martin Luther King Day and he was actually home. Oh well, there's always next year. He's loved making apple/carrot juice, carrot/celery juice ... etc. Rog has always admired Jack LaLanne for his amazing strength and overall health.

We made the trek to Utah for his birthday festivities. To celebrate his golden day, Heather and Jeff hosted a birthday party Sunday evening - complete with Fajitas and Peach Cobbler. (Rog LOVED it). His mom gave him a CD (a present he almost got to open - Jessie helped him.)

I can't forget the amazing chocolate cake with banana creme filling made by fantastic chefs Kim & Mindy. (Photo of cake above with candles). Katie also made him his beloved Pumpkin Pie and a super tasty apple crumb pie (I helped). It's great to be home to have all the help with making a birthday great.

On Monday night Grandma gave us the best birthday gift - a night without Sarah. We went to The Green Valley Spa. For those married with kids you know how great it is to have a night off!

And why were we in St. George for Rog's birthday you ask? So that his uncle Warren Cox could ordain him to be a high priest. Roger was called to the San Francisco Stake High Council a couple of weeks ago and it necessitated the visit. Rog we are so proud of you!

Oh and the other reason we were in St. George - so Roger could be with his girls. Aren't they adorable?

I have the best hubby in the world. Thanks for being such a great daddy and husband! Sarah and I sure love you!
