Some Like it HOT!

Hot Hot Hot. That's what it is here in my San Francisco apartment. After getting back from sunny St. George, I thought we would cool off ... but alas, it's just as hot as when we left last Friday. (However, I did hear that is was fairly cool in the city over the weekend ...) Funny thing though - it's probably the same temperature here as it was this weekend in St. George. The difference is lack of air conditioning ...


Last week, we beat the heat going to the beach - TWICE. Sarah's and my new friend Jenna came with us on Tuesday. It was super fun. It appears that we will need to spend a few more days near the ocean ... maybe tomorrow? I love going to the beach!


Today, we went to the zoo for free day. The zoo is now only "free" for San Francisco residents. It was a ghost-town compared to last month! We had a great time seeing the lions, tigers and bears. (They all make the same sound - just ask Sarah - ROAR!) The weather is usually foggy and chilly - but since we are in a little heat wave it was super, super nice. We didn't even need our jackets! Sarah loves playing with - and chasing - the bigger kids (the 3 year olds). The two hours we were there flew by and Sarah fell asleep on our way home. Luckily for me she transferred uncharacteristically well to her crib and slept for 3 hours! The sun is great!
