OK Heidi, Valinda and Kathy, this one's for you ...
20 Years Ago I was ...
1. Attending Mr. Eckman's Fourth Grade
2. Helping with 1st Grade reading time.
3. Playing the viola and attending early morning orchestra.
15 Years Ago I was ...
1. Rivaling EVERYONE as John Stockton's biggest fan. (Did anyone come close to my fanaticism?)
2. Playing Basketball and Volleyball for Snow Canyon Middle School.
3. Serving as Vice President of the National Junior Honor Society. (Yes, I've always been a geek.)
10 Years Ago I was ...
1. Attending BYU and taking a lot of English classes for my minor while waiting to get in to the Communications Department. (I truly feel for Kathy ... not my favorite semester.)
2. Creating and Sending the "Friends Newsletter" to keep in touch with my missionary friends and those of my high school friends otherwise spread out all over ...
3. Getting Addicted to Lois and Clark, The New Adventures of Superman. (Yes, they were re-runs, but I had never seen them before. I only have Danielle to thank for this addiction.)
5 Years Ago I was ...
1. Dating this super cute boy who became my main man. I love you Rog!
2. Working as a city news reporter for The Spectrum newspaper in St. George.
3. Planning weekly Family Home Evening activity nights for my singles ward.
3 Years Ago I was ...
1. Expecting my first baby.
2. Working as a property manager for Pacific Eagle Holdings.
3. Serving as first counselor in the San Francisco Stake Young Women Presidency.
1 Year Ago I was ...
1. Getting the hang of being a stay-at-home mom with my super cute 7-month-old Sarah.
2. Planning a fun vacation in Grand Cayman.
3. Working as a resident manager and a personal assistant.
1 Month Ago I was ...
1. Getting fitted for Invisilign at the UOP dental school.
2. Re-reading Breaking Dawn ... again.
3. Recovering from the Stake Celebration and Stake Conference planning/follow-through.
1 Week Ago I was ...
1. Attending Lap Sit at the Library.
2. Doing Laundry
3. Hanging out with Sarah
1 Day Ago I was ...
1. Attending church meetings ALL DAY. I seriously saw Sarah for all of 2 hours. :( Thankfully, those days are rare and Rog is so supportive.
2. Providing refreshments for the 2-stake youth fireside. The cupcakes were great and I served 75+ people for $20!
3. Giving my 2 weeks notice. It's true.
Today I ...
1. Attended lap sit a the library and watched Sarah play on the playground.
2. Talked with Natalie and told her I had officially given my 2 Weeks Notice - she doesn't believe it's for real.
3. Woke up at 3:30 am wide awake. You've gotta love pregnancy.
Tomorrow I will ...
1. Go to the playground with Sarah for Playgroup.
2. Take a Nap.
3. Do an inventory of our food storage.
(These are all subject to change as I am on Jury Duty this week and could be called in any day this week ... My only solace is that I know I can't be assigned a LONG trial as my baby is due in 2 months!)
Next Year I will ...
1. Have a 2 1/2 year old and a 10-month old.
2. Plan and go on a super fun family vacation.
3. Begin Potty Training Sarah ... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

ReplyDeleteTwo weeks notice, eh? That's got to be exciting. And how long did it take you to think of what you were doing 20 years ago? Even now my brain feels like mush over the subject ... and you're pregnant! What grade was I even in? Mercy.
ReplyDeleteI very much enjoyed your last 20 years! I used to love Lois & Clark but nobody ever knows what I'm talking about- it's a hidden treasure!
