Ready to Pop!

Rog is insistent that we take "Prego Photos" near the end of each of my pregnancies. When I was 38 weeks pregnant with Sarah we went on a photo shoot on Baker Beach - with the Golden Gate Bridge as a backdrop.

This time, we ventured to the Japanese Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park. (It really makes me homesick for my beloved Japan.) It is such a serene, beautiful place. And one of the reasons why we bought a parks pass this year. I do have to say I had the best pregnancy comment given to me at church today. "You have grown so beautifully." Much better than the "Wow! You look ready to pop" or "You're soooooo big!" or "When was your due date?"

Since we had the camera out anyway - and because I insisted that not all the pictures be of just me - I stole a few pics of Rog and Sarah. Don't you LOVE Rog's motorcycle jacket. Yes, it's ancient. I don't know if I would've even dated a biker - let alone marry one :)

Then for the icing on the cake - Here's a few family photos. Rog asked if I wanted to use one as our Christmas Card photo. I laughed and said, "Hmmm, Maybe we should send out a photo of the family with William on the outside ..." Silly Roger. :)

Sarah was just about DONE with taking photos by the time we took the family ones. But Roger made a game of it. He let Sarah push the button and then they would both run to me and get in place. Sarah LOVED it!

I need to get my Mom (aka PHOTOSHOP GENIUS) to remove the tourists in this picture. This is my favorite smiling one.
