Making Progress

It's much easier to describe our progress with pictures. Here's the update of our apartment. And can I just say it is so great to be married to Mr. Handyman. Rog is so great! Our kitchen and bathroom are pretty much finished. The kitchen was the first thing up and running and the bathroom number two.




I did the kitchen first because it is the center of my stability. I have to have order in my kitchen to function! Mostly because I love to have the option of cooking real food. We picked up the table and chairs yesterday from someone off craigslist. (Yippee for craigslist!) I took the wood cleaner to it today and revitalized the rustic wood. Also new is the shelving from Home Depot over our portable counter.



I did the bathroom second because it was quick and easy to put together. (And so much fun). It's great to have a baby because we can justify the kid-like bathroom. I have to say the froggies in the tub are some of my favorite parts!



This picture is of our entryway. We chose to hang curtains over the doorway leading to our closet/hallway to the bathroom. (Not a new purchase, just used differently)



The family room is still in the same condition of yesterday's blog. However, I am making progress. I did purchase a sofa today, but it will be a couple of months before it will be delivered. That will give me some time to figure out how I want to set up our family room.
