Rog, Kim and I went to yesterday's matinée of Beauty and the Beast - sans Sarah. Bonni and Samuel took Sarah to the park while we were entertained by Broadway by the Bay. Kimberly Jensen is AMAZING as Belle. I will admit I was teary eyed as it ended. The orchestra beautifully accompanied the Broadway-style acting.
After the play, we waited along with dozens of adoring fans to get a picture with Belle. Those eight year olds are pretty good at making their way through the crowd. But when Belle announced that she needed to take her prince back to their castle, we strategically place ourselves by the exit so that we could get a quick photo. My sister Kim snapped this one with Roger's camera phone. We are so proud of our talented Belle.
I remember seeing the Phantom in LA and again in Phoenix. It was magical! I bet you guys had a lot of fun. I cant wait to get everyone together in September. Our last family picture Cassie was just about Sara's age and you two werent even married yet!! I dont think we will be able to see you when you come in a few weeks we will be on our way to cooler parts of the world.....o.k. we are just going to Idaho but I have to make my lfe sound exciting somehow! :)
