So the funny thing is that right after I posted Sarah's 8 month update indicating that Sarah was up on here knees rocking - but not crawling - the very next day she was mobile. It all started out with the army crawl/reach. It's kinda funny. I need to do another video of it so I can post it here. I will see what I can do.
Now that she is mobile she has also discovered that she likes to take books off the shelf, unfold laundry and scatter Cheerios. What do I do? I had to laugh when Roger came in from our family room saying Sarah had a new trick. Sarah had not only taken the books off the shelf, but she had also ripped one of the back pages of a book. I have since put all of the "paper" children books and put them on the second shelf. Only her board books are within reach. And yes I took pictures instead of being sad. I'm sure this will be the first of many book casualties.
Oh and before I forget - Sarah is getting more and more talented with her sleeping positions. She fell asleep like this the other day. It was so cute I had to take a picture.
Didnt you know? It's an Osness trait to fall asleep in really wierd positions!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute sleeping position! I love peeking into Laura's room when she's sleeping :)
ReplyDeleteYay for crawling too! It is amazing what a crawling baby can find :)

all that stuff sounds too familiar! Rose loves to eat and tear books, too. And we call her The Princess of Unpacking because she is so good at unfolding laundry! I wish our girls could meet. : )
ReplyDeletep.s. you might have to explain the "tag" thing to me...ooh...deep dark secrets? I'll have to think hard--ha ha.
Okay, so your bedding is super cute. Where DID you get it?
ReplyDeleteNot to be a drag but pulling up comes right after crawling and I couldn't help but notice that the side of her crib is in the down position, you might want to practice putting it up. Fred used to fall asleep like that, maybe it's a Gubler thing too!
