Delinquent

I apologize for being delinquent. Things are much harder to keep sane when you aren't at your own place. We are going on 12 days here in Utah and we've been keeping pretty busy. Here's a rough recap of our family time highlights:

You can't go to St. George and July and not spend quite a bit of your time at the pool or other water activities. We've gone 3 times to the pool and twice to the splash pad. Whatever hesitation Sarah has had in the past in regards to water have evaporated. She LOVES getting into the pool - especially with Daddy.

Rog drove through the night Friday and arrived Saturday morning in time to go to the Osness Family Reunion. We had lots of food, entertainment (karaoke), an auction and - needless to say - TONS OF FUN!

We've also spent time going on double dates with various family members. On Monday we went to lunch with Roger's Mom and Elwood at The Fairway Grill and later went to WALL-E with my sister Alli and her "almost" fiance Tony. (I wouldn't recommend seeing WALL-E but the Golden Spoon frozen yogurt place was super tasty.) Tuesday night we doubled with my sister and her husband Damond and saw Les Miserables at Tuachan's Broadway in the Desert. Definitely recommend that one. The singing was superb and the setting against the red rocks was beautiful.

Sarah and I visited Auntie Katie at her office one day. It was so exciting - Sarah even pee-d on Aunt Katie's office floor. Wahoo!

Shopping was also a highlight. I love having time to suburbia-shop. The Children's Place Outlet was having their $2.99 and under sale. Needless to say I bought quite a few outfits for William (and of course a few for Sarah). I also stopped by the Old Navy 50% off clearance and the Gymboree Outlet's sale. Oh and I can't forget Target :) Sarah "needed" these sunglasses and stroller.

Some other fun activities include: Lunch with Twila at Cafe Rio, Ticket to Ride game-a-thons, dinner at Olive Garden to celebrate Kathy's last day of college classes for the summer and babysitting Roger's brother's 3 kids. (I don't know if I could do 4 kids 5 and younger!) I'll write more later - Stay tuned for the love sac adventures :)
