Farewell Dinner

My good friend Marisa - and fellow member of the SF Stake YW Presidency - is moving :( She and her husband bought a home in Concord and alas Concord is outside our stake boundaries. At least she's still close enough to visit (and to do dinner with again!)



As a farewell, our presidency went to Fresca on Fillmore Street last week. It was SUPER tasty. I definitely recommend it. I got the aji de gallina (which is pulled chicken stew, aji amarillo cream, yukon potatoes, walnuts, soft-boiled eggs, steamed rice) and it was YUM YUM YUM! Andrea, Joanna and Marisa got the lomo saltado (wok fried tenderloin strips, onion, tomato, cilantro, soy, french fries, steamed rice) which they raved about as well. Marisa definitely recommends their cauliflower soup. And our desserts - Mango Cheesecake and Tres Leche Chocolate cake with gelato on top - were fantastic. Two Thumbs Up!
