Brandon's First Solo Show

I am proud to say I know Brandon Truscott. He is an amazing artist and this week he presented his first solo art show, which was entitled "Posthuman (H+)." For months, he has been bringing home projects and I've enjoyed seeing them displayed in their apartment.

Mary made a fantastic smorgasbord of appetizers. (She never ceases to amaze me with her skills.) This picture doesn't do her food presentation justice as it was taken near the end of the show, but I thought I would include it anyway.

Sarah and I got to see the super cool exhibit before Sarah's bedtime. It was rather quick as Sarah was interested in playing with the art instead of just admiring it. (Not a desirable thing for a 20-month-old to do as batteries, electrical wires and glass pieces were within her little grasp!)

When I got home I did the car transfer with Roger and he went to the exhibit while I put Sarah to bed. Rog was able to take pictures for us. Here are a few for those who weren't able to see them in person. I am amazed at what Brandon can put together! I guess the old saying is correct: "One man's junk is another man's treasure." Way to go Brandon!
