Rog, Sarah and I headed down the peninsula to see one of our favorite 8-year-old girls become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We met Courtney 4 years ago and we became fast friends with her family. We spent many a Friday and Saturday nights hanging out together - building forts, playing hide-and-seek and reading stories. Rog and I were super sad when our girls moved away 2 years ago. It was so fun to see Courtney and Marisa light up when we showed up to the baptism service. And Sarah LOVED getting reacquainted with the girls - Marisa and Nichole loved showing her around and letting her play with their toys. Courtney, thanks for inviting us to share in your special day!
PS Karen and I will be having our babies within two weeks of each other. Lots of fun to come I'm sure :)
